In 2019 we told ourselves we didn't have time to "Netflix and Chill" but somehow we are still finding time to watch these...
My favourite series of 2019 so far has to be YOU, starring Penn Badgley who most of us know from Gossip Girl. That is probably the reason I was hooked on this series from episode 1. Huge Gossip Girl fan right here.
Official Netflix description: Obsessed with an aspiring writer, a charming bookstore manager goes to extreme measures to insert himself into her life.
This series was so gripping and I loved how the story was told. You have to watch it.
Not gonna lie I watched this twice, once on my own and then another time with Ash.
Official Netflix description: The Fyre Festival was billed as a luxury music experience on a posh private island, but it failed spectacularly in the hand of a cocky entrepreneur.
It blew my mind how this could ever happen in todays modern world, with so many people involved who should have tried to stop the festival from going ahead. I understand the need to succeed but really…this was outragious! I remember seeing Kendal Jenners post on Instagram and actually checking out the festival website at the time and thinking how amazing it looked…scary.
Ever since I heard about The American Meme coming out at Tribeca Film Festival via Paris Hiltons Instagram, I have been searching online for some way to watch it. I am fascinated by all things social media and celebrity culture. Then Netflix releases it!
Official Netflix description: Social media stars Paris Hilton, Josh Ostrovsky, Brittany Furlan and Kirill Bichutsky hustle to build online empires—and face the pitfalls of fame.
This documentary reveals the scary truth about fame and social media, a truth many choose to ignore because lets face it we are all addicted to the feeling of being “liked”. It's a pretty sad reality. A must watch.
So we started binge watching Friends because Ash had never seen it and I didn't think he would get as hooked as he did. Friends is a classic and you should all have watched it, again and again and again.
Official Netflix description: This hit sitcom follows the merry misadventures of six 20-something pals as they navigate the pitfalls of work, life and love in 1990s Manhattan.
With 10 hilarious seasons to get through, this should keep you “chilling” for a while.
Just about to start watching this, loads of people have told us to…looks creepy!
Official Netflix description: Present-day interviews, archival footage and audio recordings made on death row form a searing portrait of notorious serial killer Ted Bundy.
Have you watched it yet?
